What to do

Why do I hate this time of year so much? We lose sunlight, it gets cold, I feel antsy and bored with life, not to mention I get a seemingly never ending case of the grumps. I feel like I want to crawl under the covers and hibernate till spring. The only part I like is wearing cozy sweaters, which is not much of a consolation prize. I booked an appointment for a hair cut today. Maybe that will give me a lift. I'm going to the Aveda Training Salon. The stylist is licensed, but still in training. How does that work? Shouldn't you be trained BEFORE you get a license? I'm scared but desperate. Never a good combination. Say a prayer for my hair, k?

On The Verge

So I'm on the verge of getting braces for the 2nd time in my life. First time I was 13, now I'm 32. I've decided to use this blog to chronicle the process. The good, the bad, and the ugly. It's looking like a may need orthognathic surgery too. At this point December 1 is the fateful day I'll get the braces on. I'm going to take lots of pictures along the journey. I'm actually quite excited. I enjoyed it the first time around too. I'm weird. More details to come...
