Hello 2009

I've been doing a bit of reflection on 2008, and planning for 2009. Here's what I've come up with:

Things I'm thankful for:

Vik & Taco - don't know what I'd do without them
My great job and great co-workers
Meeting Joan and forming a new friendship with her
Fellow animal lovers and all they do to help animals
Feeling safe
Being able to live comfortably in a nice home
Health care & Health benefits
Feeling optimistic, confident, and good about myself
Twitter & the new friends I've made online

Things to improve on in 2009:

Lose 20 pounds!
Take Vik & Taco to at least one obedience/agility class each
Quit Starbucks/Tim Hortons (occasionally is ok)
Quit buying lunch (occasionally is ok)
Take more pictures

I'll try and lose that 20 with ya,although at my age it is harder to peel it off. You're young. The lbs will just melt away!!!

Hope to catch you on twitter soon!

It's me again. I saw you wanted the recipe for those turkey cookies we made. Twitter me direct and I'll send you them via email!

You haven't updated your blog for a bit - take some pics of Vic and Taco playing. I'd love to see them!

I'm being neglectful of my blog apparently! And I also need to read my gmail more carefully so I don't miss my notifications when I get comments. I'm so aweful!

Dot - I twitter DM'd you for the cookie recipe. Thanks!

Lora - Turkey cookies are actually human cookies. There are no real turkeys involved...they just look like turkeys - very cute :-) I couldn't find the pic again on Dot's blog, but here's a different pic:

Time for a blogging update!!! I wish Twitter was in real time. I always see messages 10,000 hours after they've been posted.

Hoping you have a great weekend! Stay warm.
